Information Collected and Received
Square Root may collect or receive information about each person who registers with the Square Root website including, but not limited to, user name, password, first and last name, email address, street address, gender, occupation, place of work, and interests. Square Root also collects information on the pages you access and other information you may volunteer, such as survey information.
Uses of Information
WE WILL NEVER SELL YOUR EMAIL ADDRESS, OR ANY OTHER PERSONAL INFORMATION, TO ANY THIRD PARTY WITHOUT YOUR PERMISSION. EVER.

Square Root’s site’s registration form requires users to give Square Root contact information (such as your name and email address) and demographic information (such as your zip code, age, or income level). Square Root uses customer contact information from the registration form to send the user information about Square Root and promotional material from some of Square Root’s partners. The customer’s contact information is also used to contact the user when necessary. This site has security measures in place to protect the loss, misuse, and alteration of the information under Square Root’s control. Square Root’s servers are backed up regularly and protected by security systems.

Automattic are the makers of Jetpack, which collects cookies for Square-Root.com.
Gravity is WordPress application provided to Square Root.

By completing the contact form, the user authorizes Square Root to use these details to reply to requests for information, or marketing communications.

By completing forms for marketing content, such as case studies, white papers, videos, product information, research, events, or other content related to our product or user research, the user authorizes Square Root to use these details to reply to requests for information, or marketing communications.

User Database Management
This type of service allows Square Root to build profiles by starting from an email address, a personal name, or other information that the User provides to this Application, as well as to track User activities through analytics features. This Personal Data may also be matched with publicly available information about the User (such as social networks’ profiles) and used to build private profiles that Square Root can display and use for improving this Application.
Some of these services may also enable the sending of timed messages, such as emails based on specific actions performed on Square-Root.com.
Gravity is a WordPress application that provides webforms for database collection.
Google Cloud is used to store information completed in webforms hosted by Gravity.
Person Data collected: email address, phone number, and various types of data as specified within the webform itself.
We may use standard Internet technology, such as web beacons and other similar technologies, to track your use on our sites and software. We also may include web beacons in promotional e-mail messages or newsletters to determine whether messages have been opened and acted upon. The information we obtain in this manner enables us to customize the services we offer our visitors/customers to deliver targeted advertisements and to measure the overall effectiveness of our online advertising, content, programming or other activities.
We may allow third parties, including our authorized service providers, advertising companies, and ad networks, to display advertisements on our site and/or software. Square Root and these companies may use tracking technologies, such as cookies, to collect information about users who view or interact with these advertisements and connect to the Square Root properties and/or software. Our properties do not provide any personal information to these third parties. This information allows Square Root and these companies to deliver targeted advertisements and gauge their effectiveness.
Square Root may create links to other web sites. Square Root will make a reasonable effort to link only to sites that meet similar standards for maintaining each individual’s right to privacy. However, many other sites that are not associated or authorized by Square Root may have links leading to Square Root’s site. Square Root cannot control these links and Square Root is not responsible for any content appearing on these sites.
The Rights of Users
Users may exercise certain rights regarding their Data process by the Owner.
Specifically, you can do the following:
- Withdraw consent at any time. You have the right to withdraw consent where have previously given consent to the processing your Data. You can do so by contacting Square Root or updating your subscription details.
- Object to processing of Data. You have the right to object to the processing of Data if the processing is carried out on a legal basis other than consent.
- Access their Data. You have the right to learn if Data is being processed, obtain disclosure regarding certain aspects of the processing, and obtain a copy of the Data undergoing processing.
- Verify and seek rectification. You have the right to verify the accuracy of their Data and ask for it to be updated or corrected.
Restrict the processing of their Data. You have the right, under certain circumstances, to restrict the processing of their Data. In this case, the Owner will not process their Data for any purpose other than storing it.
- Have their Personal Data deleted or otherwise removed. You have the right, under certain circumstances, to obtain the erasure of their Data.
- Lodge a complaint. Users have the right to bring a claim before their competent data protection authority.
Details about the right to object to processing
Where Personal Data is processed for a public interest, in the exercise of an official authority vested in the Owner or for the purposes of the legitimate interests pursued by the Owner, you may object to such processing by providing a ground related to their particular situation to justify the objection.

Square Root’s site provides users the opportunity to opt-out of receiving communications from Square Root.
