Customer Success Manager

We’re looking for a Customer Success Manager to join our team of Radicals and help redefine Customer Success. We not only delight customers but also transform them into advocates of Square Root and our product, CoEFFICIENT. We develop lasting client relationships by identifying opportunities, measuring results, and focusing on successful business outcomes. Intrigued? Keep reading!

The Gig

Our customer success managers collaborate with customers + internal teams to deliver business value through our software + services. In this role, you’ll:

  • Tackle client integration + configuration of our products, training, project planning, contract management, and software delivery

  • Build strong relationships with our customers and gain a deep understanding of their industry and business strategy

  • Help our customers understand the full potential of our platform through upsells and ensure the success of renewals, which are the driving force of our business

  • Collaborate with teams from across Square Root to find the root cause of and creative solutions to real business problems

  • Be the voice of the customer, essential to project success and helping our customers reach their goals!

About You

Here’s what we think makes a great Customer Success Manager:

  • You’ve got 5+ years of customer-facing experience as an account manager, product manager, sales manager, or program manager for a software company

  • You’re experienced in managing client expectations + increasing client satisfaction, adoption, and growth

  • You know how to nurture a client for advocacy and work to expand their use of our product

  • You’re a thoughtful communicator with clear and concise verbal and written skills

  • You’re positive, self-motivated, and comfortable wearing multiple hats

  • You’re analytically-minded and love to solve complex problems

  • You’re innately curious and possess the initiative to tackle and own new projects or processes

  • You have a deep understanding of and passion for great user experience

  • You’ve got experience working within and adapting to technical teams

  • Computer Science degree or previous technical experience is a plus

Data Analyst
Square Root is built on understanding our customers’ data more deeply than they do. We’re looking for a Data Analyst to be an integral part of that equation. You’ll spend your days nose-deep in data, supporting and learning from a Senior Data Scientist. You’ll collaborate with our Customer Success team, investigating technical issues and data discrepancies. Along the way, you’ll get to work with innovative technologies and great people in a startup culture.

The Gig

  • Assist in rapid customer implementations and data integrations to allow for minimal customer investment and maximum data quality and consistency
  • Support our Senior Data Scientists in uncovering insights during customer data exploration
  • Collaborate with the Customer Success team to ensure operational stability
  • Work directly with our customers to understand business logic and integrate data
  • Gain a deep understanding of the automotive and retail industries
  • Learn to use cutting edge auto-scaling serverless databases and Elastic Map Reduce
  • Implement and automate customer deliverables to include Excel and Looker

About You

  • You love to dive deep into numbers and statistics
  • You understand the importance of patience and attention to detail in partnerships
  • You’ve got 1+ years experience working in complex databases using formulas and algorithms
  • You’ve got experience using SQL to query, update large databases, and build OLAP structures
  • You have experience in customer support
  • You’re comfortable in Python and have worked with Bash or other shell scripting languages
  • Tableau or similar experience with visualization tech will serve you well
  • You’re able to articulate data insights to non-technical customers
  • You’re innately curious and fanatical about learning

Product Manager
Square Root is passionate about building innovative, customer-inspired software. We’re looking for a product manager that shares this passion. Interested? Keep reading!

Our platform, CoEFFICIENT®, helps brands achieve business goals to improve customer experiences. Our next product manager will help us hone in on the features that move us towards product market fit and deliver new value to our current customers. In this role, you’ll own a major product area, work with our VP of Product to develop a product vision in line with our business strategy, deliver product requirements to fulfill that vision, and help organize and align our product development teams. You should enjoy getting out of the building to understand prospects and care about finding innovative solutions to their problems. Working with our engineering team, you’ll help actualize technical stories from API enhancements to scalability processes. You’ll build a stellar product through quick iteration and data-driven experimentation. To make it all happen, you’ll need a mix of business and tech-savvy as well as the drive to make our vision a reality.

The Gig

  • Translate high-level vision and roadmap into prioritized user stories
  • Design and run experiments to validate our product value propositions and design ideas
  • Embrace change by thoughtfully updating product plans as new info emerges
  • Partner with an engineering team to continuously deliver value and measure + course-correct along the way
  • Facilitate agile and scrum processes for product development teams
  • Optimize our product releases to meet buyer and end-user needs
  • Refine the product positioning, key benefits, and target customer for your product area
  • Work with marketing to shape our product messaging
  • Evangelize your piece of the product internally and externally

About You

Here’s what we think makes a successful Product Manager

  • 5+ years of experience as a product manager, product owner, or business analyst
  • Experience working with technical teams + the Agile Scrum development methodology
  • Experience working with UX designers to build both low and high fidelity prototypes
  • Scrum Master experience with facilitating agile methodologies in a team setting
  • Analytically-minded and hypothesis-driven thinker
  • Communicates in a relatable way that’s clear and concise
  • A sense of empathy and enthusiasm for great user experience
  • Enterprise software or SaaS company experience is a nice-to-have
  • High comfort level working with technical teams to deliver client requests and product features
  • Technical or business degree is plus
  • A sense of humor, humility, and grit don’t hurt either!
