Samuel Taylor

Samuel is our data plumber at Square Root, helping us solve complex data challenges and unclogging any opportunities. As member of our engineering team, he is focused on backend development. Professionally, Samuel is inspired by building things that make an impact, machine learning, scalability, and helping others learn new things about coding. Outside of work, his hobbies include trail running and hiking, cooking, reading (check out his book reviews: http://www.samueltaylor.org/articles/index.html), and continual self improvement. As a kid, he dreamed of being a professional tractor driver. While he never achieved that dream, he has biked to Canada, is a rusty Spanish speaker, and once taught a computer sign language. Samuel holds a bachelor’s degree in computer science from Baylor University.
