6th Best Workplace for Flexibility
MAR. 29, 2016
Commitment to growth and balance earns Austin software company national recognition.
Fortune and Great Place to Work® have named Square Root as one of 50 Best Workplaces for Flexibility in the United States. The company ranks sixth in the nation due to its dedication to culture and team values.
The Best Workplaces for Flexibility list is based on employees’ responses and ratings of various factors including their company’s cultural support for flexibility and work-life balance. The factors accounted for employees’ anonymous assessments of communication, fairness and leadership that affect the ability to accommodate their personal lives without compromising careers. The list was created after analyzing nearly 600 eligible organizations across different sizes and industries.
“People grow when they aren’t limited to set hours or an office space,” said Chris Taylor, CEO of Square Root. “With the freedom that flexible work policies provide, our team is encouraged to thrive and create a healthy balance in their lives. We want everyone to reach their full potential and create the best software, which is why it is a big part of our culture at Square Root.”
